The first phase of houses in Bandar Utama went on sale in 1991 with 2-storey link houses. Following this, changes in lifestyle resulted in demand for more living space, giving rise to the launch of both 2-storey and 2.5-storey link houses in 1997.
By 2007, 5,626 homes comprising of 2-storey and 2.5-storey were completed.
