Bandar Utama City Group (comprising Bandar Utama City Sdn Bhd and its subsidiaries, related and affiliated companies, collectively referred to as “BUCG”, “The Group”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects and is committed to protecting your personal information and your privacy. This Personal Data Protection Notice outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data in accordance with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”).

1.1 Types of Personal Information

Personal data refers to any information that relates to you or any other third party related to you which was collected or provided to BUCG for the purposes stated in Section 2 below. We process your personally identifiable information provided by you to BUCG via BUCG’s website and 3rd party websites affiliated with BUCG, electronic and physical forms, email, social media and other communication platforms, which may include, but is not limited to the following:

  • Property ownership or tenancy details;
  • Vehicle registration numbers;
  • CCTV footage and visitor logs (for properties managed by BUCG);
  • Employment details (for service providers or tenants);
  • Personal preferences relevant to property development or leasing services.

1.2 Sources of Personal Information
(i) Customer or potential customer: BUCG collects your personal information directly from you or indirectly from your legal representatives, agents (e.g. travel agents) and/or employer when you, your legal representatives, agents and/or employers send us completed enquiry, application and/or registration forms via various means, including online and physical hardcopies at public venues or in any of our premises. Your personal information may also be collected from cookies through the use of our website.

 (ii) Vendor, supplier, tenant or service provider: BUCG collects your personal information directly from you or indirectly from your employer or credit reference agencies when tendering for projects, when you send us completed enquiry and/or credit application forms via various means, including online and physical hardcopies. Your personal information may also be collected from cookies through the use of our website.

1.3 Obligatory personal information

All information requested for in the relevant forms is obligatory to be provided by you unless stated otherwise. Should you fail to provide the obligatory information, we would be unable to process your request and/or provide you with relevant services.
